This unit ensures all our energy consumption and also exports energy to the grid. The target proposed for the use of renewable energy by the <em>Green Deal<\/em> is 32% and at Herdade da Parreira 100% was reached.<\/p><p>Another strong reduction in CO2 emissions is achieved by direct sowing, which allows an 86% reduction in the energy associated with the installation of the crop.
